Hillsdale B&B cannot accommodate children under the age of 10 years of age

We cannot accommodate pets.

Payment Conditions

FOR 2022 BOOKINGS 

A deposit equal to the first nights accommodation is required on booking.
Full payment will automatically be taken in the seven days prior to your arrival.
Payments by cash, BACS and the following cards:
Visa Debit / Credit , Delta/Maestro and Mastercard.  Sorry we do not accept American Express.

Cancellation Conditions

FOR 2022 BOOKINGS 

If a booking is cancelled less than 7 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.
If the booking is cancelled, 7 or more days before arrival then no charge will be made.
In the event of a no show or booking curtailment, the full cost of the original booking will be charged.
If one person occupies a room originally booked for two, the full room rate would still be payable.
Should Covid restrictions  be in force and cause cancellation or postponement, we will offer to carry your deposit over to a new booking later this year.  If you require a refund, however, we will deduct the sum of £5:00 towards the credit card company’s charges to us of taking and refunding your deposit .

Additional Check In Notes

 Guests can check in between 13.00 and 19.00  hours. Check-in outside these times is by prior arrangement please. Please call us on 015394 33174 prior to making the reservation.
Check out time  10.00 – 10.30am

Due to previous damage to our soft furnishings, we must request that guests do not consume take-away meals at Hillsdale. We regret that if  any damage is caused, this may result in you being asked to leave and you will incur extra charges to cover damage or loss of business as a result.

As you will know, it is illegal to smoke inside public premises, but please do make use of the front garden for this purpose.

We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Rooms are usually ready for check-in by 1pm if booked direct. You are, of course, welcome to arrive earlier and we will be pleased to take your luggage for safe keeping, but we cannot guarantee that your room will be ready. Our parking spaces will not necessarily be available before your room is ready. Please make other arrangements to park your vehicle until such time your room is available for you. If you expect to arrive with us after 19.00 hours, we respectfully request that you contact us prior to the reservation being made in order to discuss. Check-out time is by 10.30am please in order for us to prepare for the new days arrivals.
